Omschrijving
Ieder Laboratoriumrapport MOET tenminste één Laboratory Specialty Section bevatten. Elke topsectie representeert een specialisme. Een laboratoriumrapport MAG zijn opgebouwd uit testresultaten van één specialisme (bijv. een microbiologierapport of een virologierapport), of uit een willekeurig aantal specialismes (een rapport van een multidisciplinair laboratorium). De structuur van het rapport staat beide vormen van verslag toe.
De Laboratory Specialty Sections gebruiken de LOINC codes gedefinieerd als rapportonderwerp identifier codes. Een laboratoriumrapport MOET één of meer van deze secties bevatten, ongeacht de volgorde waarin. Laboratory Specialty Sections MOGEN NIET genest worden.

  • <code code=" " codeSystem=" " codeSystemName=" " displayName=" "/> - De Laboratory Specialty Section MOET het LOINC laboratoriumspecialisme identificeren. De attributen code, codeSystem en displayName MOETEN aanwezig zijn. De codeSystemName MAG ook worden gebruikt.
  • <title/> - De Laboratory Specialty Section <title> MAG aanwezig zijn. Het is de lokale vertaling van de code/@displayName.
De semantische inhoud van iedere specialismesectie is niet constant tussen landen. De relatie tussen Rapportitems en Specialismen varieert van land tot land, en KAN zelfs variëren binnen een land van zorgaanbieder tot zorgaanbieder. Een Rapportitem kan een battery (of testpanel) zijn, een individuele test, of het hele onderzoek op een specimen (vooral in het specialisme MICROBIOLOGY STUDIES). Realm extensies van dit profiel MOGEN deze definities verder inperken.
Een Laboratory Specialty Section MOET een lijst Laboratory Report Item Section(s) bevatte OF een text + entry element met de Rapportitems.
  • Keuze 1: Laboratory Report Item Section - Met deze optie MOET deze Laboratory Specialty Section GEEN top level text en GEEN entry elementen bevatten. Ieder Rapportitem staat in een bijbehorend Laboratory Report Item Section die de Lab Report Data Processing Entry bevat. Zie 2.3.4.2.
  • Keuze 2: Text en Entry - Met deze optie MOET de Laboratory Specialty Section text aanwezig zijn en niet leeg zijn. Dit narrative block MOET aan de menselijke lezer tonen, alle observaties geproduceerd voor dit specialisme, met de diverse structuren die in het CDA Narrative Block schema (NarrativeBlock.xsd) bestaan: tabellen, lijsten, paragrafen, hyperlinks, voetnoten, referenties naar ingevoegde multimedia-objecten. Het narrative block is volledig afgeleid van de entry daar onder met daarin de machine-leesbare vorm. Daarnaast, MOET één Laboratory Report Data Processing Entry bestaan met attribuut typeCode="DRIV". Deze entry bevat de machine-leesbare resultaatgegevens waar het narrative block van deze sectie van is afgeleid.
Als een Laboratoriumrapport meerdere Laboratoriumspecialismen bevat dan hoeven deze zich niet aan dezelfde presentatiewijze te confirmeren, dat wil zeggen, deze MOGEN een mix van keuze 1 en keuze 2 representaties bevatten tussen de verschillende laboratoriumspecialismen.
 
Wat betreft de section.text: Binnen een Laboratory Report Data Processing Entry (2.16.840.1.113883.2.4.3.11.60.25.10.53 ) zitten de uitslagen als 0..* battery panels of 0..* isolaten of 0..* observations. De herhaling van de testen uit de BgZ kan dus binnen Laboratory Report Data Processing Entry plaatsvinden, en dan kan in de section.text een nette tabel staan. De opties zijn dan dus:
  • 1 section met 1 tabel met uitslagen in section.text, met 1 entry met daarin al die uitslagen
  • 1 section met 1 of meer subsecties per specialisme met in iedere subsectie 1 tabel met uitslagen in section.text, met 1 entry met daarin al die uitslagen
Dat betekent dus in een weergave op basis van section.text:
  • 1 tabel met alle uitslagen
  • of 1 tabel per specialisme (hematologie, KC etc.)
Een los .text element per uitslag hoeft dus nooit. Het enige wat niet kan is een gecombineerde tabel voor alle specialismen, maar wel subsecties per specialisme.
