Omschrijving

Demo 3: Electrocardiogram Report as a Minimal CDA Document

This is a demo of a minimal CDA Release 2 document based on a real use case of an Electrocardiogram Report of a patient.

It uses a small dataset with

the patient (along with the name, date of birth and a healthcare identifier for the patient)
The performing physician, acting as the author of a result document
the EKG result report (impression) as text

This example shows the use of templates for

The document level template, named "MinimalCDAdocument", making use of includes of other already defined buidling blocks of a CDA document
Some header level templates, mainly to be included, actually a copy from the ART-DECOR CDA BBR (building block repository), a collection of pre-defined CDA templates in DECOR format
one section level template, named "EKGImpressionSection"

This example shows the use of two value sets,

AdministrativeGender (HL7)
Basic Confidentiality Kind (HL7)
